Terms and Conditions of Use

Preamble

The company Groupe IJP, with its registered office at Cours Saint-Michel 30b, 1040 Etterbeek, Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE1009.934.603 (hereinafter "RenovSmart"), operates a web and mobile platform called RenovSmart.

These terms and conditions of use (hereinafter "TCU") govern the use of the platform and define the rights and obligations of users (hereinafter "User") and registered professionals (hereinafter "Professional").

Article 1: Purpose

These TCU define:

  • Access to and use of RenovSmart's services.
  • Features such as connecting users with professionals, AI-assisted quote and proposal requests.
  • Management of reviews, certifications, and AI badges for businesses.
  • Data analysis and management services to enhance user experience and professional visibility.

Accessing or using the platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of these TCU.

Article 2: Services and Pricing

RenovSmart offers free and paid services:

  • Free Services: Searching for professionals and viewing reviews.
  • Paid Services:
    • Premium Subscription: Profile promotion and performance analysis (annual fee: €249 excl. VAT).
    • Advertising Options: Sponsored ads and targeted advertisements.

Prices may be modified with 30 days' prior notice.

Article 3: Orders and Payments

Orders are placed online with confirmation sent by email.

Secure Payment: Payments are secure and can be made via credit card or bank transfer. Services may be suspended in the event of non-payment.

Billing: Electronic invoices are sent by email.

Article 4: Duration and Termination

Premium subscriptions are valid for one year and renew automatically unless canceled in writing 30 days before the expiration date.

RenovSmart may suspend or terminate a subscription in cases of serious breach, abuse, or fraudulent use of services.

Article 5: Responsibilities

RenovSmart acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for:

  • Information provided by professionals.
  • Disputes between users and professionals.
  • Temporary platform interruptions.
  • Business results obtained or not obtained by professionals.
  • Content posted by users (reviews, photos, videos). RenovSmart reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.

Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.

Article 6: Intellectual Property

All content (texts, images, logos) is protected by copyright. Professionals grant RenovSmart a license to use their content for promotional purposes.

By posting a review or testimonial, the user grants RenovSmart a free, non-exclusive right to reproduce and display such content for promotional purposes.

Article 7: Personal Data Protection

RenovSmart processes data in compliance with GDPR. Users have the right to access, correct, and delete their data by contacting [email protected].

Collected data is secure and compliant with ISO 27001 standards. In the event of a data breach, RenovSmart will notify affected users and authorities within 72 hours.

Article 8: Force Majeure

RenovSmart is not liable for delays or failures resulting from unforeseen events (natural disasters, cyberattacks).

Article 9: Complaints and Disputes

The parties agree to seek an amicable solution before initiating any legal proceedings. In case of failure, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.

Article 10: Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with legislation, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period. By accepting immediate access to paid services, this right is expressly waived.

Article 11: Use of AI

RenovSmart uses AI tools, including the virtual assistant 'Bill'. These tools facilitate quotes and recommendations. RenovSmart does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated results.

Article 12: Partners and Subcontracting

RenovSmart may use subcontractors for hosting and maintenance. These partners comply with strict security and confidentiality obligations in accordance with GDPR.

Article 13: Targeted Advertising and Analysis

RenovSmart collects data for statistical analyses and personalized advertisements. Users can manage preferences via the integrated tool or browser settings.

Article 14: Changes to TCU

RenovSmart reserves the right to modify these TCU and will notify users at least 30 days before application. Continued use of the services after this period constitutes acceptance of the changes.
